Most people say they're going through a nostalgic phase right now when it comes to the choice of books they want to read again.

A new OnePoll study on behalf of ThriftBooks finds more than half of the 2,000 people surveyed are going back to their childhoods to re-read some of the books that they used to read as children.

They look to Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter, and The Cat in the Hat among others.

The researchers also wanted to find out which are the best kids' books ever.

The number one book on the list was The Berenstain Bears with 31 percent of the vote. The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein got 30 percent, tied with The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

More than half of people also say they remember every line from their favorite children's book.
